Cancun, Mexico – 22 -29 November, 2008
We spent the week of Thanksgiving at our timeshare in Cancun, Mexico. After a long flight connecting in Mexico City from Los Angeles, we arrived in Cancun. Most of the time was spent in reading, relaxing by the pool and having dinner in nice Mexican restaurants. The weather was probably the best we have had in our trips to Cancun. We took a car trip south of Cancun to the Mayan Riveria and visited the town of Akumal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akumal), a quaint little town on a lovely bay. We rented snorkeling gear and went swimming a beautiful nature preserve with coral rocks, caves and wonderful fish. Afterwards we had fish tacos and a Corona bee at La Buena Vida Restaurant on the bay. It was wonderful!
